Terms of use

These terms apply when you use Aerolo. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What the service is

Aerolo is a personal tool for pilots: a logbook, currency reminders, weather and NOTAM display, aircraft upkeep, links to official sources, news and study cards. It is run by Oleksandr Puriha.

It is not an official document or briefing

• Your logbook is a personal record. Whether it is accepted by an authority, examiner or employer is for them to decide. A signature in the logbook is made through a link and records the name and licence number that the signer types. Aerolo does not verify who the signer is, so a signature here is not proof of identity.
• Currency, recency and expiry results are reminders calculated from what you entered. They can be wrong or incomplete. Check them against the regulations and your documents.
• Weather and NOTAM are shown from public sources, can be late, incomplete or missing, and are not a weather or NOTAM briefing. NOTAM coverage outside the United States is not guaranteed, and while the NOTAM source is in test mode the screen says so. Always get your briefing from the official services we link to.
• The pilot in command remains responsible for flight preparation and for every decision made in flight. Do not rely on this service for safety-critical decisions.

Your account

Keep your password private and give us true information. You are responsible for what is done with your account. You own the data you enter. You can export your logbook, and all of your data, at any time in the app.

Plans and payment

Every new account has a 20-day free trial of the Pilot plan, with no card needed. After the trial, the Pilot plan costs €5.99 per month excluding VAT. The Co-Pilot plan costs €3.99 per month excluding VAT on top of Pilot. Plans are billed monthly in advance and renewed automatically until you cancel. When a trial or a plan ends, your data stays readable and exportable, but you cannot add new entries. Payments and VAT are handled by Lemon Squeezy as the seller of record, and their terms apply to the payment itself. Prices and plan contents may change. A change to the price of a running plan takes effect from the next billing period after we tell you.

You can cancel at any time. The plan then ends at the end of the period you paid for. See the refund policy for refunds.

Acceptable use

Do not break the service, try to access other people’s data, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that does.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or remove features. If we stop the service, we will give notice so you can export your data.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss caused by errors in the data shown, an outage, or decisions you make based on it. Where the law does not allow excluding liability, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence and for intent or gross negligence, nothing here excludes it. Our liability for other loss is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the event. This does not affect your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

Deleting your account

To delete your account and its data, write to us from your account email. We will confirm and delete it, normally within one month. Deleting an account removes your logbook, so download your data first (Settings, Your data).

Law and disputes

Czech law applies, without taking away the protection that mandatory consumer law of your country of residence gives you. Please contact us first so we can try to solve a problem.
